From chicken little to chicken big

In this elementary school learning adventure, students discover the wonderful world of backyard poultry. Children identify diverse chicken breeds, examine unique feather and physical traits up close, and map out the complete life cycle from egg to hen. Through interactive, sensory exploration, young learners connect directly with living animals and build deep care for their environment.

Pumpkins: Not just for Halloween

Designed especially for 6-8 grade homeschoolers, this engaging project digs into estimation, botany, and culinary science. Students estimate the size and weight of harvested pumpkins, sprout fresh pumpkin seeds, and whip up their own delicious pumpkin pie in a bag. Every step engages sight, taste, touch, and smell to make math, gardening, and nutrition truly memorable.
